November’s Prop Drop contains:
You venture further into the woods and notice the gleaming plants and the sweet fragrance of the night-blooming flowers. You witness the awakening of nocturnal animals, their eyes shining in the darkness. You eventually arrive at a small hut and carefully open the creaking wooden door.
A shadow dances on the wall as you enter the room.
‘I was waiting for you, Traveler.’
You notice a small, feminine figure in the room.
‘How did you find out I was looking for you?’ you ask.
‘There’s always some traveler looking for me,’ she responds. ‘So, what brings you here? I have many magical items to offer, such as this superb moonlight-forged sword or a spyglass crafted from Dragon’s Eye. And have you seen this Beetle? Though it may be tiny, its power is astonishing.’
‘I need a potion,’ you say.
‘I’m guessing the Shroom Potion,’ she replies. ‘But it will come at a price, my dear.’
Suddenly, you notice a strange blue light coming from a lantern. Upon closer inspection, you realize it’s not a flame, but rather a tiny ghost-like creature.
‘It’s one of my friends,’ the lady explains. ‘But please, avoid asking questions to which you don’t want to know the answer.’
You pay the lady for the potion and leave. As you walk through the woods, you start to feel uneasy. The once beautiful forest now seems ominous and suspicious.
